Glass Is Half Full

We are all doing our best to meet the challenges of the Corona Virus. I look forward to the day when the words "Isolation" and "Social Distancing" become a test question in an updated version of Trivial Pursuit. Until then we are all in this together and staying in the right frame of mind is helpful. Reach out to your friends and neighbours that may not reach out when they need help.

My job in custom drapery is still running. I am able to order fabrics online. Being a home based business I am not having to deal with home visits for the time being. The preliminary work can be done via emails and cell phone photos. For this I am grateful. If you are home now with a project in mind you are welcome to message me. I have fabric books on hand to give you some ideas. Lots of pillows on the go right now!!

In the down time I have ripped the backsplash off in my kitchen and removed the lower cupboards to paint them a new colour. Both of these projects were on my "When I have time List." The good thing is that I did not have to leave the house to purchase any supplies. The backsplash tiles had been purchased previously and the paint was left over from my pantry renovation. Again I am grateful for the skills and the motivation. I have included my pantry reno pics and I will update you on the cupboards later this week........if all goes well :)

I've also been eating Easter Eggs by the handful so getting out for a walk has cleared my mind and made me even more grateful. You can hear Spring coming as you walk along the river here in Perth.

My best to all of you as you make your way through the days and weeks ahead. My only words of wisdom would be to keep the Glass Half Full mindset!!
