When we started social distancing 6 weeks ago I doubt many of us could have imagined just how much our lives would be altered. Like many I decided to tackled my "do it when I have time list". My house was pretty organized and tidy for the first couple of weeks. Now I can say it is back to normal and not so organized. :) Something I did learn in this process is that I have a lot of stuff that I am not using. In my quest to save the landfill sites from anymore "stuff" I have sold things online, given things to friends or repurposed items.
Like a lot of small business owners I have had to redirect my sails as they say.
Thankfully while waiting for drapery fabric orders to arrive I have been putting my skills to good use by making masks. I'll be honest. There are more fine details in making a mask than there are in making drapery !!
During this social distancing process I have considered the thought that maybe we are meant to shift our focus in life.
My hope is that when I look back at 2020 I will have grown from the experience.
